Family Guy Movie

Post by Winnow »

Here's the full Family Guy Movie (90 mins)

Right click and save as or you'll regret wasting however long it takes you to download 189mb.

Stewie steals the show after the fist 10 minutes.

Edit: 10 GB

A higher quality version (probably the same - this one is just shrunken down) has been available via torrent since July 25th.

This one has good sound and video. Cartoons (like south park, family guy, simpsons) can be compressed much smaller than normal video. For a perfect copy you'll want to buy the DVD!

I bet people who have the Family Guy movie on their hard drives will end up being sued. So, if anybody did download it I suggest you delete it immediately. While many people believe that anything they do on the internet is completely anonymous, that's not really the case and people have been sued for downloading stuff before. So my suggestion to everybody is to not be stupid and don't risk being sued for thousands of dollars just because you wanted to see a movie early.
You've been warned!

But yeah, it's been available for awhile now. Apparently leaked by someone from post-production or something. I imagine there will probably be a few firings over it.

For torrents, you probably have a point. Torrents can be tracked via IP. Newsgroup downloads are more anonymous.

Nevertheless, I won't keep this up for more than a day or so.

I get the first 2% and then it locks on me. You reach your bandwidth limit Winnow?

It seems fine Bubba. I just downloaded the first 10% to check and it went fine.

Should be 10 GB/day, 300GB/month bandwidth allowance.

Delete the files in your browser cache, reopen your browser and try again...maybe have a corrupt partial file or something.

Kinda nice that you can compress a 90 min movie to 189mb and its still viewable!

As Winnöw said, works well with cartoons.

I'd like to see someone compress Ben Hur to 189Mb though! :D

Do you have a fast connection or slow connection to the net? 189mb is a pretty big file for a browser download. With a slow connection it may crap out...guessing there's not a resume...you may also have the corrupt file thing bubba had.

Watched this the other day at my mates house, was classic, but as with watching any extended family guy session, it tends to destroy your mind after a while :P

Enjoyed it all the same :)

Use a divx codec and it should work fine.
